How can I participate?
To participate in an auction, you have to register in our website. In the registration form, the fields marked by * are compulsory for a correct registration. The absence of such data could determine an unsuccessuful registration. Uncorrected data could also lead to the lose the right to get the items won in the auction. To complete the registration form, you are asked to choose your user-name and password.
Is it possible to change the information provided during the registration?
Yes, you can change the personal information at any time, but not your name and surname, place and date of birth, as well as user-name.
Can I pass my password and user name to other persons?
No, members can not give their password and user-name to other persons.
Are there any restrictions for the registration?
Members must be at least 18 years.
What is a lowest unique bid auction?
A lowest unique bid auction is a special kind of online auction. The winner is the one who has placed the lowest unique bid.
What is the “time of bid”?
During this predetermined period of time you have the possibility to place your bids (e.g. the bids for a certain item can be placed between midnight of the day x and midnight of the day y). Just before the end of an auction, the number of placed bids could increase; as consequence, it might happens that some bids are not processed by the system until the time of bid runs out. These bids will be automatically cancelled.
What is a unique bid?
It is a bid that anybody else has placed.
What is the basic-package?
It is a pre-paid account necessary to receive the information package. Each time you receive an information package, it will be charged to your account. After the credits finish, you might want to re-fill your account in order to receive further nformation packages (i.e. to place other bids). Your account can be filled by credit card, PayPal or other methods of payment indicated on the site.
How many kinds of credit-packages can be purchased?
There are types of packages:
- Standard package: 1 credit for 0,50 € cents, no restriction of bids (the expiry date is indicated).
Smallest denomination: 20 credits for 10 Euros.
Denominations for 10, 15, 20, 50, 100, 200 and 300 credits.
If a user has several credit packages at the same time, the system selects them according to expiry date.
Is it possible to possess several subscription packages?
Yes, because the subscription credits rely on the basis credits.
In case of an interval bid, the system could use a part of the subscription credits and a part of the basis credits. The participant will be informed about it.
Is it possible to get a reimbursement for credits, which have not been used within the given period?
No, the credits must be used within the stated period.
Therefore it is not possible that credits are reimbursed, which have not been used within the stated period.
What is the information-package?
It is the whole of all information, reported to each participant in the instant he places a bid. (E.g. whether the bid is the lowest unique one or not). In case that new bids will be placed by other participants, the bidder is held up to date about the current status of its bids.
What is an interval bid?
An interval bid is an easy way of placing several bids on every amount within a specific interval. E.g.: If a bidder places a bid between 15 and 25, all 11 bids are then placed in one go by the computer system.
How much does the registration cost ?
The registration and the account maintenance are free. The mechanism of a lowest unique bid auction provides that each member placing a bid will receive the information package.
To get the information-package each member has to transfer a certain amount on his account. The amount will be clearly stated on the website.
What is the bonus for free?
It offers all new members the possibility of using a certain number of free credits. The amount of the credits is stated on the control panel at “promotions”.
Can different bonus offers be collected?
No. Bonus offers can only be used once per member.
Does bonus offers have a time of expiry?
All bonus offers are subject to expiry; afterwards they couldn’t be used any more.
What is the sign-on bonus?
After the registration each new member receives some credits for free. So you could have a look at the portal and place some bids. This bonus is only available if you have indicated the number of your mobile phone during the registration.
What is the” friend bonus “?
Each member has the possibility to invite friends. For each item, bought by a friend, the member will receive basis credits. (10% of the amount the friend spent, f.e. for purchases between 10-19 euro you will get 2 basis credit, between 20-29 Euros 4 basis credits)
What is the market?
In the market you have the possibility to use your market points for selecting products. In order to require a product, you have to make sure to have enough market points on your account. Send an e-mail at , indicating your user name and the code of the premium selected by you. We will contact you as soon as possible in order to organize the delivery of the item. For each item there will be a delivery fee.
How can I auction off my own items?
In order to auction off a product you have to sign a contract with the corresponding company.
How can I place a bid?
To place a bid, you just have to go on the corresponding web page. While the auction is running, click on the item you are interested, insert the amount you would like to spent and follow the instructions. After you placed your bid, you will receive automatically the information-package. All bids should be placed in cents of euro. E.g., for placing a bid about € 1,50 you should enter just 150, without point or comma.
Is it possible to know, which bid is the lowest one?
All bids are secret; therefore it is not possible to get any information about other bidders and their bids.
Is it possible to place several bids on the same item?
You can place an unlimited number of bids on each product.
Are there limits for the number of bids within a day?
No, each participant can place as many bids as he wants during a day.
What happens, if the bid is the lowest, but not unique?
In this case, the product will be awarded to the bidder that, even if its bid should be higher, placed the lowest unique bid.
What happens if it there is no lowest unique bid?
Should that happen, the system will automatically calculate the lowest bid, which has been placed by the smallest group of bidders.
- 10 euro: 2 bids
- 4 euro: 6 bids
- 3 euro: 2 bids
- 2 euro: 3 bids
- 1 euro: no bid
The item will be awarded to one of the bidders, who have placed a bid for 3 euro, since there are only 2 bidders. The winner will be the one, who has placed the bid for first.
Is it possible to withdraw a bid?
A bid could be withdrawn only if an auction item has been modified, also partially, after the bid has been placed.
Is it possible to purchase an item for 1 cent?
Of course, if the bid for 1 cent will be the lowest unique bid, the item will be adjudicated as well for 1 cent.
Does the payment, in order to receive the informations package, take place with each individual placement of a bid?
Yes, the payment is requested for each single presentation of a bid
Auction winner notification
The winner will be contacted by e-mail.
Is it obligatory to acquire the awarded product?
No, after you received the email you have to confirm within two weeks if you like to purchase the item or not. Afterwards, the winner will lose the opportunity to purchase the item.
How do the payment and the delivery take place?
The payment and delivery take place according to the conditions of the seller. These conditions, regarding costs, modality and duration of the delivery, are stated on the site for each item. If no delivery fees are indicated, the product will be delivered without further costs. All items will be delivered to the address specified in the registration.
How does the payment for the receipt of the informations package take place?
The amount for the transmission of the information package will be deducted from your pre-paid account. When the credit is exhausted, you have to deposit in a new account. The transfer can be made by credit card (Visa and MasterCard), cash cards with logo of Visa Electron or Maestro. As another option you can use PayPal, which offers different ways of payment.
Can an auction be cancelled?
In case of problems with the hardware/software or defects in the computer system, the society, which runs the portal, can decide at any time to interrupt or cancel an auction. The new conditions will be communicated to the members.
Is it possible to cancel the registration on the web page?
Each member has the right to request, at any time, the deletion of his registration. For more information contact our customer service. Cancelling the personal data, your member profile will be deleted losing your possibility to get access to the web page.
Is a lowest unique bid auction a form of gambling or lottery?
A lowest unique bid auction, where the item will be assigned to the bidder, who placed the lowest, unique bid, isn’t a gambling or a lottery at all. All auctions have an exactly defined “time of bid”. The bidder will be informed continually about the current status of his bids. Due to this information the bidders can use various strategies and various heights of investments. So the participant can affect the course of events and thereby also the result.
